The 2012 baseball season is Coach Kliner's fifth year as head coach of the El Modena Baseball program. The Vanguards have won two league championships in his four years and have won at least one playoff game in each of their three appearances in the posts

This will be Coach Klovstad's fifth season as the pitching coach at El Modena. Coach Klovstad has molded the Vanguard pitching staff into a strength of the program year in and year out.

Coach Rodd is entering his third year as a varsity assistant coach. He is a great teacher and positive influence for the young men in our program.

Jude Chavez is entering his third season as an assistant on the current varsity staff. Coach Chavez is a graduate of El Modena High School where he starred on the baseball field for Coach Mike Finn.

This will be Coach Kaufman’s third year coaching at El Modena and second year as the head coach of the Junior Varsity team.

Coach Alvarez enters his second year as a JV assistant coach. He works with the infielders on our lower levels.

Rosy will return to be an assistant JV coach for the second straight year. He works with the outfielders and hitters.

Coach Crooks enters his second year at El Modena High School, but first as a coach in the baseball program.
