Travis Hertzberg

Assistant Coach

My name is Travis Hertzberg and I'm a graduate of El Modena High School, Class of 2001. I played on the Varsity team all four years. I was 2nd team all league as a freshman pitcher on Varsity and in addition I played first and third base. After high school I attended Santiago Canyon College and then transfered to Fullerton College to play baseball. I played 2 seasons with the Hornets under Nick Fascardo. Through college I battled arm trouble, and ultimately, had to have rotator cuff surgery. That would be the end of my baseball playing career but it also became the beginning of my coaching career. This year will be my 6th season as a coach at El Modena. I'm looking forward to a brand new season on the Varsity squad this year and am very blessed to work with such great kids and coaches that share the same passion for baseball. In my spare time, I manage my own skylight company here in Orange Co., and work in equestrian show jumping. Go Vanguards!!
