El Modena Baseball beat St. John Bosco Tuesday 6 - 1. The Vanguards will be taking on El Toro in the next round of CIF this Friday at 3:15pm at El Toro High School.

The 2012 El Modena Baseball end of the season banquet will be Thursday June 7th, at the Yorba Linda Country Club, ceremonies will begin at 6:30!

El Modena Beats Canyon to Win OCNissan Select Invitational
The Vanguards came from behind to erase deficits of four and three runs to beat Canyon HS and claim the championship of the Spring Break Tournament. Nathan Kuchta received MVP honors for going 2-0 on the mound and driving in the winning run in the championship game on a squeeze bunt. David Hill and Austin Case were named to the All Tournament team. The varsity team resumes league play against Foothill at home on April 16th.
